Stone Creek has incorporated recycling into our trash collection process. We ask all residents to support the change. This change was driven by the new Town of Avon recycling mandates, effective 1-November-2023.

These black and green collection units are exclusively for recycle item collection. Each of these black or green bins has a label on the top or side indicating what refuse items are to be placed inside this recycle collection unit.

This unit (one in each of the west and east trash collection buildings) is for the collection of “TRASH”, that is everything else not placed within the black and green recycle collection units. This includes pizza boxes; they are not recycle boxes.
Please be sure to secure all trash collection bags placed in these large containers to minimize spill.

In order to maintain the integrity of the Town of Avon recycling program, please be guided by the following label showing what is to be discarded into recycling collection units. In summary:

Acceptable Items for recycling bin:
Newspapers, magazine and mixed paper.
Paperboard (cereal / tissue boxes)
Flattened cardboard, except pizza boxes.
Aluminium Foil & cans. Metal cans & containers
Plastic Bottles
